Self Portrait

Self Portrait is a series of portraits told through the clothes we choose to keep. These garments carry memory—of places, people, and versions of ourselves we’ve lived through. In a culture of constant replacement, holding onto something becomes an act of resistance.

The pieces I love most are those with a past longer than mine—handed down, discovered, remembered. They are markers of the past, but because we keep them, they are also hopeful symbols of the future. In a world pushing us to erase and replace, this work is about staying still long enough to remember who we are.
